Don't believe the marketing hype... : ContourROAM Hands-free HD Camcorder

so out of the box the camera was fairly easy to use. It took some guessing to figure out how to open the back to insert my microsd card, but after that, there positively wasn't much to it. It look video, but out of the box and audio was terrible. The only thing you could positively hear was whenever you touched the case of the camera. I tried connecting it to the computer to see if I could adjust the volume but that did not seem to work on it. I contacted buyer sustain and did what they told me and sent them a amount of videos at distinct volume settings. In the end the view it was a firmware issues which caused the camera's volume normalizer was not bringing the volume back to normal or something. They said they would be able to fix this with a firmware update but could not contribute any kind of timeline. Unfortunately i had to send it back because they could not do anything or offer any to help keep my business. If I am going to pay full price for a camera, I would like it to be fully functional. Not partially functional with hopes or promises that you will gain full functionality later. On the other hand, the video that it did take was pretty good and I positively do like the form factor of this camera. Maybe sometime in the hereafter when Contour can show me a camera that is 100% functional out of the box without any needful firmware updates I may try them again.

Nice piece of tool : Jawbone JAMBOX (Black Diamond)

Having invested over 10K in my home audio equipment, I became concerned in the Jawbone Jambox to use as a transportable speaker to pair with my Mp3 Player. Figured it would be excellent to use in the office, when traveling or at a tailgate.

Upon receipt of the Jambox, all was packaged well, with quality accessories included: Jambox, chargers, travel case and instructions. The building of the Jambox is very good...built solid. This unit is so compact, but has a nice weight to it.

Charging the unit took a slight over an hour, and pairing only a few seconds. Upon listening to a handful of lossless recorded songs via the Bluetooth connection...I was impressed. The Jambox produces a full, rich sound...which is surprising based on the corporeal size of the unit. The bass and lower frequencies is impressive.

For citizen who assess the Jambox to a larger speaker system...that is not fair. While the Jambox will categorically hold its own against a unit like a Bose, what you are buying with this stock is a great sound in a covenant format. Throw the Jambox in a suitcase, folder or backpack...and you are off.

Should the price be less...yes. But, it is an impressive product. I am sure the price will come down a bit after the holiday

Nano Gains Touch, Loses Video Playing & Recording : Apple iPod nano 16 GB Graphite (6th Generation) NEWEST MODEL

With the notification of the new Apple Tv, and now the issue of the drastically revised iPod Nano, it would appear that Apple is in the process of re-evaluating its goods line and re-tooling the entries to match what it perceives to be the needs of the consumer.

With the Apple Tv, they have correctly, I believe, simplified the complexity of the former offering, removed any concept of storage, which tended to confuse the median user, and prepared it for an app driven iOs future. They claimed these changes resulted from a close look at the usage of the current Apple Tv, and that they made the changes they felt were needed to more closely match what was desired.

The Nano, I believe, follows the same path.

I have an iPhone and and the new Nano. I also have the old generation Nano. I tend to agree with Apple: I never the older Nano once to watch a video. I never used the contacts, the calendar, nor did I play a game on the Nano. I bought it for jogging, I only used it for jogging.

All those things removed from the new Nano I currently do on my iPhone. These removed features were worthless to me and will not be missed.

But the Nano did do exactly what I wanted it to do: become smaller, and be easier to use. Though I am getting used to a virtual pause button vs. A physical button on the older model, I find the new Nano to sound a tiny best and is less intrusive while running.

Apple has apparently moved away from the "same feature set, dissimilar design" view and has moved to "what's best for the intended useage?" model. They now have a mature line of music players, each with a clear and intended purpose.

The excellent is for those who wish to carry their whole music collection with them.

The Touch is the top of the line universal player and application machine. Not intended for exercise, but rather for those who don't have an iPhone but want its best features.

The iPhone, a Touch with a phone built in. Same positioning as the Touch, but replaces your phone if you are in the market for a phone.

The Shuffle: the low cost entry point into the Apple ecosystem. Probably the only way Apple could offer any goods under $100. With its small storage, and lack of screen, it appears to be essentially a gateway expedient for some to enter the Apple world.

And finally the Nano. Not the universal player anymore. Not the smaller iPod Classic, like its predecessors were. The Nano seems to be targeted to the extremely movable exercise crowd. The Nano is verily only good for playing music, which, along with the Shuffle, make it the only "pure" iPod left. If you want a music player, and you want more than 2Gb or storage, but you don't need apps or video or games because all you want to do is listen to music, than the Nano seems ideal. It fails when we try to make it something is clearly not intended to be. And for those who grieve at the loss of the features, I am sure Apple's acknowledge is that "you verily want a Touch." They're right, too. The days of the Nano needing to be a stripped down Touch or excellent vanished the day the Touch was released.

So, though not perfect, I think the create and intended use of the Nano fits in nicely into the Apple music player offerings.

I bought this goods for his high scores that he had, and it happens that sounds great, very nice but this player is not compatible with the ipod touch! what i have supossed to do? i join together the ipod and in the display of the player says error 116, and in my ipod says: This goods Its Not Compatible With Your Ipod. And calls and text messages continue uninterrupted even if the DROID BIONIC is removed from the dock.

You can choose from the Webtop Adapter (most affordable, and best for light webtop use), the HD Station dock (good for webtop use plus multimedia playback), or the Lapdock--which provides an all-in-one webtop solution with built-in monitor, keyboard, and trackpad.

The optional Motorola HD Station dock enables you connect to a big screen (via HDMI port) as well as plug in peripherals such as a keyboard or a mouse via its USB ports for a PC-like experience while using the webtop application. Solid entry to Verizon Wireless' Lte family. : Motorola DROID BIONIC 4G Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)

Hello true believers. I was eligible for an upgrade about a year ago and couldn't bring myself to upgrade before a decent 4G expedient was on the market. My old phone was a Blackberry 8330. The Motorola Droid Bionic is obviously in a different league. I am a Costco member, so I took benefit of their deal with all the accessories. I paid $279, $20 less than the Verizon Wireless retailers. Amazon's price is even better if you won't use all the accessories that Costco throws in for free. I was hesitant to be buy the phone before actual hands-on reviews but I took the Nestea plunge. I am a realist and I anticipated some bugs, but I have been on the Motorola Droid Bionic for the past 3 days and I can't find whatever wrong with it. I have used friends' iPhone 4 and Htc Droid anticipated devices, so my frame of reference is not only a Blackberry. The 4G is incredibly fast with the dual core processor. I don't get 4G coverage at home, so I just connect through my WiFi. I do get 4G at work and won in every competition with other 3G devices. I convinced at least 3 co-workers to get the Motorola Droid Bionic. I very recommend the Motorola Droid Bionic. Stay thirsty my friends.
